Post Offices

Now, customers can pay their bills at all post offices across Pakistan. At post offices, customers can pay their bills using cash, cheques, bank drafts, and debit or credit cards.

Via ATM

It is utilising new technologies for the betterment and ease of its customers. Extension of Due Date and Bill Instalments

If a customer is unable to pay his bill on the due date, he can apply for an extension of the due date. A customer can also apply for instalments of their bill if they are unable to pay it in full. But he can avail of the instalment facility only once a year. He needs to follow the procedure for instalments and extensions on the due date.

LESCO Tariff

When we use anything, we have to pay the price, in this case. Because the price of electricity for all consumers is not the same, it is called a tariff, and it has been designed with some slabs to charge its customers.

Customers are charged according to their usage; therefore, the price increases with higher usage. In this regard, it aims to provide shelter to its low-income consumers and compensate them. It charges higher rates to consumers with high usage, fulfills its needs, and covers its operational costs.

Prime Minister Announces Reduction in Electricity Prices

After a long time, the Prime Minister of Pakistan announced a reduction in electricity prices to provide relief to the masses. The reduction in prices is a result of negotiations with the IMF and IPPs. A reduction of Rs 7.41 per unit is given for residential consumers. Protected Users

Consumers who use up to 200 units monthly for 6 months continuously are called protected consumers. For this category, the tariff is very low and is not affected by price hikes in electricity prices. They enjoy the privilege of being protected consumers. They did not bear even fuel price adjustments on a quarterly basis.

Un-Protected Users

Users who use more than 200 units monthly fall under the unprotected users category. They bear higher prices and unit rates. Unit rates increase with the increase in the number of units consumed.
